Bead Aura, in Covent Garden. I love this tiny shop, it is my absolute favorite and

it is packed with some of the prettiest beads around of every type and colour.

Make your way down the spiral staircase to the lower floor,

where you will find 

they have a wonderland of semi precious stones,

freshwater pearls and crystals.

The girls in Bead Aura are also very helpful and always remember me.

It's a tiny little jewel of a shop.

This is a fair trade supplier of Karen Hill Tribe silver based in Thailand.

I buy from here because it is 99.9% pure silver.

Their workers receive far more than the average minimum wage, as well as training, education,

health and welfare benefits, that we in the west take for granted.

By buying from Shiana I am helping to support genuine hill tribe silver workers and

not mass produced sub-standard factory copies that are so readily available

and therefore not threatening the livelihoods of the skilled workers.

This is another shop in the Covant Garden area.

I love this shop and now they open Sundays it makes going into London

on a Sunday much more delightful and worth the trip.

They have two floors for you to explore, but you can also buy through the inter-net

and be assured that you will be receiving quality beads.
